Pathgather joins Degreed to Transform the Way the World Learns

Articles Featured

Today I’m thrilled to announce that Pathgather has been acquired by Degreed.

To some this may come as a surprise — after all, they’ve been our primary competitor up until today. But in actuality I can’t think of a single company out there that fits us better than Degreed.

This is because Pathgather and Degreed were founded on a shared belief — that not only is it possible to transform the way the world learns, it’s essential that we do so. As technology continues to change the way we live and work at an accelerating rate, the only way for individuals and organizations to keep up is to become continual, lifelong learners.

Over the past five years, with the help of our customers, we’ve been able to help drive this transformation. To this point we’ve done so in parallel with Degreed in the marketplace, which is why it’s so exciting to now be able to continue to do so together, but faster and better than ever.

Our customers will continue to leverage our great product, but now with the support of a larger organization that represents the best of all worlds, including more resources to accelerate development and sustain our best-in-class support.

I’d like to thank everyone who helped bring us to this moment, including Tamar Elkeles and the learning team at Qualcomm for taking a chance on us 5 years ago, as well as our investors, advisors, and of our course our incredible team.

Building Pathgather to this point has been the journey of a lifetime. By now joining the Degreed family, we enter into the next leg of this journey. I couldn’t be more excited for or optimistic about what lies ahead.
